Project goal: Support the client in implementing a new VRU system in the terminal. Determine gaps in the process design and help resolve issues identified. Support on developing an emission measurement- and control plan for acceptance by authorities. 

Services provided:

  • Acting as owner’s engineer: in house process expert
  • Review of total vapour situation on the terminal
  • Review of all present installations: design windows, expansion possibilities
  • Review process design of new VRU installation and identify possible gaps
  • Design the process connections of the new system to the terminal’s vapour system
  • Line sizing calculations, vent stack design, selection of detonation arresters
  • Identify issues after construction of the new VRU and determine solutions
  • Drafting of an emission measurement and control program
  • Develop acceptance test procedures and measurement programmes
  • Support in communication with authorities and permitting procedures
